How to use custom HTML forms to extend user properties
Whether you want to add a roster, extended personal details, or some other information related to FocalScope users, custom HTML forms are a great way to do it. This article details how custom HTML forms can be used to add custom user properties to your FocalScope user accounts.

Creating a custom HTML form to extend user properties
- In the [Main menu], select [Screen > Administration]
- Click the [Advanced properties] tab
- Navigate to the [Custom forms > User properties] folder
- In the right-hand pane, click [New] to create a new form
- In the [Custom Form] window, give the form a suitable name in the [Name] field
- Design a form by dragging some of the precompiled elements to the editor box
- Click [Save] once you have completed the form

Accessing and filling out the extended user properties
- In the [Main menu], select [Screen > Administration]
- Click the [Administration] tab
- Navigate to the [User Access Control > Users] folder
- In the right-hand pane, double-click the user whose extended user properties you wish to access
- In the [User properties] window, click the [Custom] tab
- Fill out the extended user properties for the user and click [Ok]
