How to install additional FocalScope UI languages


The language used in FocalScope's user interface can manually be translated by users to match the language of any country or region. FocalScope also allows users to download several official language packs for their country / region. This article will explain how to download and install an official FocalScope language pack, such as Danish.

How to download the FocalScope Thin Client

Tutorial

  1. Use the FocalScope Thin Client to log into FocalScope
  2. In the [Main menu], select [Screen > Administration]
  3. Select the [UI Translation] tab
  4. Select the [UI Languages > Install Language] folder
  5. Right click the da.zip file and select [Install]
  6. Wait for the popup window to appear and click [Ok]
  7. Ignore all subsequent warnings

After the installation process completes, switch to the Danish UI as such:

  1. Log out of FocalScope
  2. In the [Login - FocalScope] prompt click the [Options] button
  3. Select [Danish] from the [Language] dropdown list
