Create Ticketboxes

Ticketboxes are common folders containing threads of messages just like any other email folders. However, the difference between a ticketbox and an email folder is, a ticketbox is shared with multiple people in a company whereas an email folder is private. Messages that are sent or received from ticketboxes can be viewed by all group members. This allows multiple people to collaborate on the same message and stay informed on how the case is progressing.

In the Administration screen, click on the folder icon in the lower-left corner of the left pane.

Expand the [Shared Items] node, right click the [Ticketboxes] folder and select [New...]. A new popup will open...

In the [General] tab of the "Folder Properties" dialog, enter the name for the new tickebox.

Enter the name of the ticketbox under the [Name:] field.

Adjust other settings on this page as desired...

You may set permissions for each ticketbox that you create, specifying who has rights to access or manage each ticketbox and/or its contents. Go to the [Security] tab, click the [Add] button to add new permissions.

A pop up with a list of available groups and users will appear. Click to select who you wish to add to the permissions list for this ticketbox. Use Ctrl + left click to select multiple groups/users. Click [Ok] when you are done making your selection. The users and groups you selected will be added to the privilege list and they can now access the ticketbox in their Workspace screen.

Click [Ok] on the "Folder Properties" screen to create the new ticketbox with the settings and user access you configured.

The newly created ticketbox will appear in the list of ticketboxes.
