In this brief guide, we will show you how to get started using FocalScope. We will cover the basics such as creating user accounts, linking email accounts from your mail server & setting up basic folder structures and user access protocols for these folders.

The first lessons will focus on getting to the Administration screen in FocalScope. This is where all the background configurations happen, such as adding users, creating security groups and enabling advanced features.
Open Internet Explorer and go to your configured FocalScope URL. When prompted to log in, please click [Options >>] and select
For the user name use "root" (without the "") and the password you specified for the root account, during the FocalScope instance setup.
Upon successful login, you will be directed to the root account's Workspace screen, as shown.
Click on [Screen] tab in the top left of the interface and select "Administration" from the drop down. To go back to the previous screen, Click on "Workspace" in the Screen tab.
This will bring you to the Adminitration screen where all user accounts and configuration in Focalscope are controlled and activated or deactivated.
